Local artist Anisah Nasir has transformed Level 1 into a space lovers of fashion, art and culture.
Local artist Anisah Nasir is cementing herself as one to watch with her latest installation unfolding this week at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City.
The 13 metre, 40 + hour abstract mural is coming to life right before shopper’s eyes as she creates her first large scale installation inside Perth’s biggest shopping centre.
Having recently completed commissions for the newly opened Palette Nails and Baltinas Architecture Halo on Mount apartments, Anisah is quickly carving a niche for herself in the West Australian market.
Using a selection of acrylic paints, ink and resin to create her abstract works, Anisah works largely with colour therapy and interesting objects and spaces to create unique, one-off pieces for clients.
Colour therapy is primarily used as a type of holistic healing using the visible spectrum of light and colour to affect a person’s mood and physical or mental health.
Working alongside Anna Flanders, arguably one of Perth’s most sought after interior stylists Anisah has quickly found herself inundated with commissions from some of Perth’s leading architecture and interior names.
Inspired by beautiful light, bright whimsical colours the installation is set to create a one of a kind feature for shoppers to enjoy – transforming a once vacant tenancy into a space lovers of fashion, art and culture will be drawn to.
